Job summary

BUGK CREATION SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a creative Interior Designer to develop concept designs, space plans and mood boards for retail and display spaces. You will produce detailed layouts and 3D visuals using AutoCAD and SketchUp, balancing function with aesthetics to meet client briefs.

You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers and clients to ensure design intent is realized on site, handling technical drawings, material selections and coordination throughout the project

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field, or equivalent portfolio.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop; basic 3D rendering.

Responsibility

We are looking for a creative and responsible Interior Designer to join our team and work on a variety of interior design, retail fit-out and event projects.

The successful candidate will be involved throughout the design process, from concept development and space planning to technical drawings, material selection and site coordination.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure that design requirements are properly coordinated and implemented on site.

The role includes hands-on involvement in:

• Site measurement and space planning
• Concept development and design proposals
• Technical and detailed drawings
• Lighting and electrical point coordination
• Material, colour and finishing selection
• Site inspection and project coordination
• Design amendments based on site conditions
• Project handover

Candidates should be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with different project stakeholders and provide practical design solutions according to project requirements, timelines and site conditions.
