Job summary

Designer Suite Enterprise in Ipoh seeks a creative Interior Designer to join our team. You will meet with clients to understand design requirements, develop concepts, and produce detailed drawings and 3D renderings using industry software.

You will select materials, stay updated on trends, and monitor site progress to ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations. A degree in interior design or architecture is required with a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Develop creative interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts.
• Produce detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and presentations using design software.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the project concept.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design quality and compliance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and design innovations.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in interior design (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply if applicable).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, and construction details.
• Excellent creativity, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• A portfolio showcasing completed interior design projects is required.
