Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a passionate culinary team member to assist with preparation and cooking across a la carte, events and conferences.

You will support food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards while collaborating closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery, creativity in plating and consistent presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen or specialty.
• Prior experience in multi-cuisine environments (Asian and Western) preferred.
• Exposure to food preparation, plating and kitchen operations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Creativity and attention to details in cooking and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of stock preparation, inventory management and mise en place.
