Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a culinary team member to assist with preparation and cooking across la carte offerings, events and conferences, while upholding food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards.

You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery, learn culinary techniques and menu standards, and contribute to a collaborative, high-energy service environment in a modern ibis Styles property operating under Accor.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience in multi-cuisine environments (Asian and Western).
• Strong teamwork and communication under pressure.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen or specialty.
• Prior experience in multi-cuisine environments (Asian and Western) preferred.
• Exposure to food preparation, plating and kitchen operations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Creativity and attention to details in cooking and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of stock preparation, inventory management and mise en place.
