Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled logistics planner to manage production planning, inventory control, and demand forecasting in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with QA and Warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment while ensuring compliance with export and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field and have 4+ years of logistics/demand planning experience; Mandarin language ability is a plus for stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree and above in relevant fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics/demand planning.
• Having customs knowledge/experience would be an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin would be an added advantage for stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Prepare production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts, ensuring smooth production flow and alignment with plans.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, minimize stock-outs and excess stock, and recommend actions for slow-moving or obsolete items.
• Demand & Forecast Management: Analyze forecasts and sales trends, and recommend actions to manage demand fluctuations.
• Order Fulfillment: Align production plans with delivery requirements and coordinate with QA and Warehouse teams for timely shipments.
• Export Compliance: Ensure export shipments comply with regulations and monitor changes in export control requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies, keeping updated on relevant changes.
