Job summary

Asia Recruit is seeking a skilled Demand Planner for the Malaysian market. The role requires a degree in related fields and 3–5 years of demand planning experience, preferably in FMCG or retail.

You will analyze data, coordinate with international teams, and drive cross-functional improvements in supply chain planning. Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3–5 years of solid Demand Planning experience, preferably within the FMCG or retail industry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and process-oriented skills, with good attention to detail and prioritization.
Strong understanding of products, sales and customer needs, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP APO is highly desirable.
Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

Build, validate, track and monitor planning robustness and execution.
Serve as the key Supply Chain contact for assigned customer groups within the market.
Drive improvements in overall Supply Chain efficiency and demand management.
Lead and validate the unconstrained demand plan through time-sensitive planning cycles.
Leverage data, statistics and planning tools to support effective decision-making.
Maintain timely and accurate updates in ERP system based on the validated consensus demand plan.
Ensure alignment between demand plans and agreed business actions to control forecast bias.
Respond agilely to market changes and collaborate with markets and management to drive demand planning excellence.
