Job summary

Fraser and Neave, based in Kampung Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, seeks a seasoned supply chain leader to drive demand, supply, and production planning in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You will lead S&OP, optimize capacity and inventory, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Procurement. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required; prior ERP experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in SCM/Operations/Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years experience, incl. 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry required.
• Strong knowledge of demand, supply, production planning, MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, and S&OP.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and Excel/Power BI skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration; English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly S&OP process aligning demand, supply, inventory, and priorities.
• Monitor inventory performance including stock levels, turnover, aging, DIO.
• Optimize production capacity, manpower, machines, and utilization.
• Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.

Lead the demand forecasting process by working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams.

Develop and manage demand, supply, production, and material plans to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

Oversee production planning and scheduling to optimize manufacturing capacity, manpower, machine utilization, and inventory levels.

Ensure the timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials to support uninterrupted production.

Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning demand, supply, inventory, and business priorities.

Monitor inventory performance, including stock availability, inventory turnover, stock aging, and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), while driving inventory optimization initiatives.

Analyze planning performance, forecast accuracy, and operational KPIs, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify supply risks, develop contingency plans, and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 15 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is required.

Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, production planning, material requirement planning (MRP), capacity planning, inventory management, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or equivalent.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
