Job summary

Dunham-Bush Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven Sales professional in Kajang, Malaysia to prepare quotations and proposals, meet customers, and drive HVAC business growth. You will negotiate pricing and specifications, coordinate cross-functional orders, and build strong customer relationships.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience, preferably in Data Center sales/services.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Good sales, marketing, business development and networking skills.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and proposals based on customer requirements and company policies.
• Meet customers to understand their needs and technical requirements and identify sales opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and product specifications with customers and secure orders.
• Monitor and prepare sales performance reports, including bookings, invoicing and quotation success rates.
• Submit weekly sales activity and quotation reports to the Senior Manager – Local Sales.
• Process customer purchase orders and coordinate factory orders with Engineering, Factory, Sales, Admin and Accounts.
• Monitor customer outstanding payments and follow up to ensure timely collection.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and business networks.
• Support the development of the customer base and contribute to business growth and profitability.

Key Requirements

Proactive, organized and able to work under pressure.

Good communication, presentation and written English skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
