Job summary

Dunham-Bush Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facilities Engineer to design and upgrade electrical systems, plan maintenance, and oversee procurement, fabrication, delivery and installation of new equipment. You will monitor power systems and ensure clean shop floor conditions while delivering training on production-line electrical equipment.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering with experience in AutoCAD or similar tools; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Nanosoft is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical system upgrading works.

Job description

Design and plan electrical system upgrading works.

Prepare and execute electrical power maintenance schedules.

Follow up on the procurement process, fabrication of new equipment, delivery, and installation.

Monitor electrical power systems.

Ensure housekeeping and shop floor cleanliness are maintained after work is completed.

Provide training on production line electrical equipment and systems.

Attend equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

Perform department administrative tasks, including To-Do List and MJRF updates and follow-ups.

Prepare, maintain, and file equipment electrical system maintenance and acceptance test reports and documentation.

Perform other functions assigned by the Section Head.

Knowledge, Skills & Requirements

Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is a MUST.

Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheet applications, and word processing software.

Good organisational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Proficient in process improvement and problem-solving techniques.

Minimum 1 year of project management and facilitation experience.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Education
