Job summary

Sourceo Pte Ltd in Johor Bahru seeks a seasoned Data Center Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day reliability of critical infrastructure, drive continuous improvement, and ensure 24/7 uptime.

You will lead maintenance programs, coordinate with vendors and teams, prepare SOPs and audits, and mentor junior staff while ensuring safety and compliance with QEHS standards and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or facilities management.
• 5+ years in data center or critical environment.
• Experience in data centre operations or critical facility management advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder skills.
• Familiarity with QEHS standards and audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage data center operations and maintenance for 100% uptime.
• Prepare SOP, MOP, EOP and WI.
• Attend Change Advisory Board meetings for major activities.
• Develop KPIs and SLAs based on service agreements.
• Escalate incidents and prepare root-cause analyses.
• Lead safety and technical inspections of electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, and BMS systems.
• Ensure installation and maintenance comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
• Ensure building utilities meet municipal and government requirements (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA).
• Train junior technicians and supervise operations in critical spaces.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and disaster contingencies.
• Prepare documentation for audits.
• Travel overseas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
