Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Site Lead in Kuala Lumpur to oversee critical data center operations, ensuring continuous uptime, performance, security, and safety of the facility. You will serve as the main accountable owner for data center critical operations, coordinating with Colo, DCFE, Design, NW, Security, and Access teams.

Qualifications

• Strong data center operations experience with SOP/MOP/EOP.
• Hands-on knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or network infra.
• Understanding security standards and access control.
• Ability to plan 24x7 coverage, continuity, and shifts.
• Experience coordinating with Colo and vendors for availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center operations, ensuring uptime, performance, and safety.
• Coordinate with Colo, DCFE, Design, NW, Security, and Access teams.
• Lead incident, change, problem, and risk management activities.
• Drive build-to-operations handover and operational readiness reviews.
• Develop and enforce site security, audit, and compliance procedures.
• Manage governance, reviews, action tracking, and performance metrics.
• Mentor technicians and engineers; foster teamwork and ownership.
• Plan and cover 24x7 shifts, including holidays when needed.
• Report on performance, security, risks, and readiness to stakeholders.
• Support high-density deployments and liquid cooling readiness when applicable.
