Job summary

K2 Strategic is seeking a Facility Lead to provide leadership and management for an operational critical environment shift team, delivering 24/7 on-site data centre support. You will coordinate emergency response, maintenance, and vendor visits, ensuring 100% uptime for critical systems and safe operations across the site.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills in a busy data centre setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of data centre experience.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and teamwork.
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malay communication skills.
• Proven planning, change and time management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the designated shift team for 24/7 on-site data centre support.
• Coordinate maintenance, safety, and documentation for vendor visits.
• Ensure 100% uptime for critical power and monitoring systems.
• Induct subcontractors and verify method statements and risk assessments.
• Prepare daily shift handover reports and maintain CAFM records.
• Escort and supervise third-party engineers to ensure site standards.
