QUETTA BYTE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Data Center Asset Management Officer (fresh graduates welcomed) to manage warehousing, inventory checks and ledger updates for IDC room assets including servers and network equipment.

You will work with the data center O&M team to deploy, decommission, migrate and maintain records with accuracy. The role requires a diploma or higher in logistics, CS or related fields, familiarity with servers and network devices, and strong Excel and asset management system

Competenze

• Diploma or higher in logistics, CS, administration or related fields.
• Familiar with servers, network devices, spare parts and consumables.
• Able to perform asset receiving, issuance, stock-in, racking, de-racking and stocktaking per work orders and SOPs.
• Proficient in Excel and asset management systems; able to use PDA or barcode scanner for daily verification.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Working languages include Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Data Center Asset Management Officer (Fresh graduates are welcomed)

1. Responsible for the warehousing, inventory checking and ledger updating of IDC room assets including servers and network equipment, ensuring consistency between records and physical assets.

2. Cooperate with data center O&M team to complete equipment deployment, decommissioning, migration and relevant record keeping.

3. Compile asset reports, follow up on full life-cycle asset management, and investigate abnormal asset conditions.

4. Liaise with relevant departments to collaboratively complete asset verification, handover and filing.

Requirements:

Diploma or above, majors in logistics management, computer science, administration or related fields are preferred.

Familiar with identification of servers, network devices, spare parts and consumables. Able to perform asset receiving, issuance, stock-in, racking, de-racking and stocktaking accurately in accordance with work orders and SOPs.

Proficient in Excel for data entry and consolidation. Able to operate asset management system, PDA or barcode scanner for daily scanning and information verification.

Meticulous and rigorous with basic asset security awareness and communication skills. Prior experience in asset management or IDC data centre is preferred.

Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia can be used as working languages.

Fresh graduates are welcomed.
