Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Cybersecurity Sales Consultant in Malaysia. You will drive the full sales cycle for Data Protection solutions, engaging IT and Security leaders and delivering value-driven proposals with pre-sales support. Build lasting relationships and forecast pipeline while collaborating with marketing and vendors.

The role requires 2–3 years in B2B tech sales, strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Postgrad or bachelor in IT, cybersecurity or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in B2B tech sales (Cybersecurity/IT infra/Cloud/SaaS).
• Experience with enterprise clients or regulated industries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities

• Deeply understand our Data Protection solutions and services
• Use a consultative approach to identify business challenges, risks & technical gap
• Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities through effective discovery and valuebased pitching
• Lead the full sales cycle
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

• Conduct discovery meetings with IT & Security leaders, Security Analysts & Procurement
• Prepare value-driven proposals, demos & presentations (with pre-sales support)
• Build long-term relationships and become a trusted advisor
• Ensure high customer satisfaction to drive repeat business & cross-sell

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, marketing & vendor ecosystem partners

Job Requirements

• Postgraduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Technology,Cybersecurity, or equivalent
• 2-3 years' experience in B2B tech sales (Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, SaaS)
• Exposure to enterprise clients or regulated industries
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability in lead generation, customer engagement, and building relationships
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
• Possess own transport and willing to travel when required

Job details

• Working hours :8:30am - 5:30pm/9am - 6pm/9:30am - 6:30pm (Monday - Friday)
• Phone bill claim of up to RM50/month upon confirmation
• Medical insurance upon confirmation
• Medical benefit of RM1,500/year upon confirmation (Optical, dental and body checkup expensesare covered including vaccinations and flu jabs)
