Job summary

softScheck APAC is seeking a highly organized Project Consultant in Malaysia to manage cybersecurity engagements from initiation to completion. The role is hybrid with occasional travel to client sites, requiring Mandarin and English fluency and strong communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in IT/cybersecurity, solid planning abilities, and experience coordinating diverse stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT or cybersecurity field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, or consultancy practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery of cybersecurity consultancy engagements.
• Coordinate with clients, internal consultants, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Perform administrative and reporting duties across all phases of the project.
• Develop subject matter understanding in the cybersecurity domain to better manage client expectations and project outcomes.
• Monitor and follow up on project progress to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
