Job summary

UniQ Consulting & Services Sdn Bhd is seeking cybersecurity consultants to support end-to-end cyber risk engagements for clients in Malaysia. Responsibilities include security assessments, incident response planning, and delivering well-documented recommendations.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of cybersecurity experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while aligning security needs with business goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in cybersecurity, computer science & engineering, or related field.
• At least 1–2 years professional cybersecurity experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage and support security platforms including SIEM.
• Perform cyber security assessments for clients and review information security policies.
• Advise on incident response processes and tabletop exercises.
• Lead multiple projects from inception to completion with high delivery quality.
• Align information security requirements with business strategy and goals.
• Develop advisory support and present security initiatives to stakeholders.
• Support governance and compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and NIST.
