Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking a Security Engineer (Presales) to join our team in Malaysia. You will work with the Sales team to understand customer cyber needs and design tailored security solutions using Check Point technologies.

Expect hands-on engagement with advanced tech and direct customer interaction to shape winning outcomes. You will lead technical conversations, perform Proof-of-Value exercises, and deliver compelling workshops.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs.
• Certifications highly preferred (CCNP/CISSP/CCSA/CCSE).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to recommend Check Point solutions to meet cyber needs.
• Provide insights based on Check Point best practices.
• Lead technical engagement; address questions and run Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops.
• Demonstrate portfolio of solutions to protect organizations and data.
• Drive meetings to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with bid teams.
• Engage partners and customers on the latest cyber security tech.
• Participate in cyber security events.
• Maintain timely activity reports and communicate with SE manager.
