Job summary

SEER S&R in Klang, Malaysia is seeking a Freight/Customs Clearance Executive to handle all customs formalities, advise on HS codes and duties, and coordinate road transport with distribution partners.

You will liaise with clients, agents and colleagues to ensure accurate documentation, permits and smooth transaction flows. The role requires 1–3 years in general freight/forwarding and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in written and spoken English/Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customs formalities with customs and authorities for clearances.
• Advise clients and agents on HS codes and duty/tax amounts.
• Coordinate with local distribution/vendors for road freight requirements.
• Follow up discrepancies and process supplier invoices for payments.
• Interface between Finance & Customs Clearance Team/Agent for documentation and transactions.
