Job summary

FedEx Malaysia is seeking a Customs Clearance Coordinator in Sepang to manage import/export documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. You will review shipping documents, ensure accurate declarations, and coordinate with customers, freight forwarders and authorities for timely clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum education of Secondary education or equivalent (SPM) completed.
Knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage customs clearance activities for import and export shipments.
Review documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, permits) for accurate declarations.
Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and authorities to gather information and resolve inquiries.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate clearance and resolve issues.
Stay updated on changes in regulations, tariffs and trade agreements to provide accurate advice.
Submit accurate customs declarations timely and maintain compliant documentation.
Collaborate with operations, customer service and sales to ensure smooth clearance processes and excellent service.
