Job summary

Talent Recruit is hiring for a customs clearance role in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree, and 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance. Responsibilities include managing import/export documentation and liaising with customs and shipping agents. Mandarin proficiency is required for coordination with partners in China. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with alternate Saturdays expected.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to manage customs clearance documentation accurately.
• 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance required.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export customs clearance documentation.
• Verify HS codes and applicable duties/taxes.
• Prepare shipping documents such as Bill of Lading and Invoice.
• Liaise with Customs and freight forwarding agents.
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely cargo release.
