Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & PC.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Proven expertise in planning & organizing with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review import/export documents to ensure accurate declarations before submission to customs authorities.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to collect information and resolve inquiries.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate customs clearance and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and tariff structures to provide accurate guidance.
• Ensure timely submission of declarations and maintain compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and sales to enable smooth clearance processes.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
