Job summary

Priority Synergy Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Freight & Customs Forwarding Executive to manage end-to-end shipment processes, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and onboarding new customers. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong people management, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate export/import activities, prepare regulatory documents, and liaise with ship lines and authorities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage.
• Familiarity with Malaysian customs systems.
• Comfortable handling tasks via system platforms.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to detect irregularities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight forwarding activities for import/export shipments.
• Manage customs clearance documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and customs authorities for smooth cargo movement.
• Prepare and submit permits, declarations, and other regulatory documents.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve operational or compliance issues promptly.
• Onboard new customers, ensuring smooth integration into operational processes and systems.
• Identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance in documentation and processes.
• Work effectively under time-sensitive conditions and meet multiple deadlines.
