Job summary

ITW Meritex Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Customer Service / Order Processing professional to handle inquiries, quotes, and orders. The role involves maintaining orders, handling complaints, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a manufacturing setting, knowledge of ISO systems, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia skills; Mandarin is a plus for China & Taiwan customers. Independent workers are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate/ Diploma in Business Studies or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in related field in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in ISO systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills with English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for China & Taiwan customers.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, requisition for quotes and orders.
• Maintain all work orders and customers’ purchase orders.
• Handle all communications like complaints and inquiries; maintain records.
• Process and check forwarders' invoices and submit to Finance for payment.
• Prepare billing forecast and monthly sales reports.
• Build up relationships with customers; liaise with production to expedite requests.

Handling customers’ inquiry, requisition for quote and order

Order processing and update part general data

Process and check forwarders invoices and submit to Finance department for payment

Prepare billing forecast and monthly sales report

Build up relationship with customers

Liaise with production to expedite customers’ requirements

Job Requirement:

Minimum Certificate/ Diploma in Business Studies or its equivalent
