Job summary

A T GALAXY SDN. BHD. is seeking fresh graduates for an entry-level role focused on handling full container load (FCL) import/export shipments based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Handle end to end import/export shipments (FCL) based in Singapore.
• Arrange Import/Export Documentation & Processes based in Singapore.
• Coordinate with representative consignee/shipper on freight arrangements.
• Check vessel arrival and liaise with customer for cargo arrangement
• Deal with Customs for Import/Export Cargo Declaration
• Prepare invoice to consignee/shipper/forwarders and follow up for payment.
• Coordinate with consignee/shipper/customs broker for cargo clearance.
• Interacting with forwarders and external agents for incoming or outgoing cargoes
• Update shipment status and respond to customer inquiries.
• Send all necessary information and documentation to clients / agents / sea companies / forwarders accurately and on a timely basis.

Job Description:

Responsible for handling full container load (FCL) import/export shipments based in Singapore from pre-alert stage until cargo and container delivery. The role includes processing shipping documents, monitoring vessel arrival, preparing arrival notices/BL, submitting customs manifest, issuing delivery orders/telex release, and coordinating with consignees/shippers, customs brokers, shipping lines, and depots.

The position also involves preparing invoices, following up on payments, monitoring free time, demurrage and detention, arranging empty container return, and ensuring all shipments comply with company SOPs, port regulations, and customs requirements.
