We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, coordinating shipments, monitoring delivery status, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities
Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Provide timely updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and logistics arrangements.
Coordinate with internal departments, warehouse teams, drivers, transporters, and other relevant parties to resolve customer issues.
Monitor shipments from collection to final delivery and follow up on delays or exceptions.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents, delivery orders, invoices, quotations, and other relevant documentation.
Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry into the company's system.
Handle customer complaints professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
Follow up on delivery discrepancies, damaged shipments, missing items, and other service-related issues.
Maintain accurate customer records and ensure proper documentation of enquiries and complaints.
Coordinate special delivery requirements and ensure customer instructions are communicated clearly to the operations team.
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or a related industry is preferred.
Fresh graduates with good communication skills may also be considered.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Mandarin or other languages would be an added advantage.
Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Experience with logistics, transportation, warehouse, or ERP systems will be an advantage.
