Job summary

Nakhoda Transport is seeking a logistics professional to provide sales support and coordinate shipments for local customers in a dynamic port-centric environment.

You will liaise with clients for FCL/LCL/Export shipments, prepare detailed quotations, and ensure timely documentation and delivery coordination across carriers, warehouses and vendors. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with Mandarin skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working documentations and operations experience in an international seafreight forwarding company.
• Understand Seafreight FCL & LCL documentations (SI to carriers, Shipping Pre-Alerts), customs clearance and domestic transportation; Airfreight experience is an added advantage.
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin-speaking ability preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Candidate with higher experience may be considered for supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and manage daily communications.

To provide sales support and coordination with local Customers.

Ensure the preparation of quotation time basis with sufficient details and follow up.

Liaising with clients for FCL / LCL / Export shipments arrangements, documentations and inquiries.

Coordinating with ocean carriers, hauliers, warehouses and local vendors for shipments arrangement and deliveries.

Segregation off work to meet shipment arrangements.

Attend & assists indoor meetings with customer on related matter.

Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.

Handling and understand customer's enquiry and respond accordingly.

Liaise with customer on the daily basis for shipment arrangements.

Coordinate with Operations and Forwarding Department on daily basis for shipment arrangement.

Preparation of Job Oder for daily shipment.

Undertake any others duties as requested by department head or management.

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.

Candidate with higher experiences would be considered for supervisor role.

Customs Declaration knowledge will be an added advantage
