Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Management professional to establish and maintain quality systems, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement across product and manufacturing processes. You will ensure customer requirements are met and lead quality initiatives from NPI through mass production.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, hands-on experience with HLA, PCBA and SMT, and a strong command of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in HLA, PCBA, SMT.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards.
• Proficient at generating and presenting quality reports.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and business impact on quality.

Responsibilities

• Generate quality checklists for customers.
• Review PPAP, Quality Plan, and PMP.
• Coordinate periodic FMEA reviews.
• Develop shop floor control routing and BOM.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Act as Designated Quality Representative (DQR).
• Oversee quality from NPI to mass production.
• Develop area QC plans.

This is a quality management role responsible for establishing and maintaining quality systems, conducting audits, managing customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across product and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate Quality Checklist per respective customers and other documents related to quality.
• Establish and review customer PPAP, Quality Plan / Process Flow and Management Plan (PMP) to meet customer requirements and conduct periodical review.
• Coordinate periodical FMEA review.
• Generate shop floor control system routing, BOM and shop floor related control matters.
• Coordinate component and circuit card assembly (CCA) purges.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions for customer feedback.
• Certify and perform as customer Designated Quality Representative (DQR).
• Lead the team to handle all quality excursions independently, and take effective actions on time.
• Oversee the product and material quality from NPI to mass production.
• Develop the quality control plan for respective area (material / process / product).

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in HLA, PCBA, SMT.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards and processes.
• Knowledge of software and its uses in generating reports, capturing data and presenting data in an understandable format.
• Strong knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of the business unit and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery and profitability of the unit.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
