Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a quality assurance professional to respond to customer complaints, validate issues, and coordinate containment actions within one working day. The role involves collaborating with process engineers and production staff to complete 8D reports and provide timely responses to customers.

You will monitor quality trends, report findings during QBRs, and ensure changes to products and processes are communicated.

Qualifications

• Engineering background, preferably with a degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 3 years working experiences.
• 2 5 years of related experiences in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in implementing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO/TS16949 is preferred.
• Experience in TQM implementation is preferred.
• Knowledge of stamping, molding and plating process will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of SPC application is essential and experience in conducting quality audits.
• Trained in Six Sigma Black Belt will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer complaints.
• Validates the complaint.
• Follows-up with immediate visit if required.
• Provides containment action plan within one working day.
• Works with the process engineer or production executive on 8D report and responds to the customer within 5 working days.
• Closely following-up with the customer on 8D till customers acceptance / closure.
• In the event of customers request, to present the 8D report to the customer & if required, together with respective process engineer.
• Updates the complaint details.
• Participates in Quarterly Business Review (QBR), as hosted by the customer.
• Analyses quality trend of customer complaints, feedback analysis & propose recommendations for improvement.
• Notifies customer on all major changes to products & processes.
• Is authorized to stop production line to rectify product quality issue.
• Works with the manufacturing plant & interco on technical & quality matters when requested by customers.
• Being trained in Internal Quality Auditing.
• Participate in Internal Quality Audits, process audits & address all audit findings with respective area / department.
