Job summary

JINTEC INNOVATION SDN. BHD. is seeking a quality engineer to serve as the main contact for customer quality enquiries and complaints.

The role involves investigating issues with precision-machined parts in collaboration with QA, Production and Engineering, and coordinating containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent repeat defects. The candidate will prepare 8D and inspection reports, ensure adherence to customer drawings and quality requirements, and support customer

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
• Preferably two to three years of quality experience in precision machining or manufacturing
• Able to read engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T requirements
• Familiar with CNC machining, measuring instruments and CMM reports
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions and 8D reporting
• Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for customer quality enquiries and complaints.
• Investigate quality issues involving precision-machined parts with QA, Production and Engineering.
• Coordinate containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent repeat defects.
• Prepare and submit 8D reports, inspection reports and customer-required quality documents.
• Ensure customer drawings, specifications and quality requirements are understood and followed.
• Support customer audits and follow up on audit findings.
• Monitor customer complaints and quality performance to drive improvements.
