Job summary

Celestica seeks a skilled liaison between customers and the production team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will ensure orders are processed accurately, production stays on schedule, and supply chain issues are resolved before impacting customers.

Responsibilities include monitoring orders from entry to delivery, addressing delays, and preparing performance metrics such as OTD and forecasting accuracy. Strong MS Office skills and experience with EDI are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree and at least 4 years in manufacturing, supply chain, or account management.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry with high accuracy.
• Familiarity with EDI transmissions and tracking corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor orders from entry to delivery and manage Exess & Obsolete materials to minimize waste.
• Troubleshoot production delays and material shortages.
• Prepare detailed performance metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), forecasting accuracy, and yield reports.
• Lead production meetings to relay customer requirements and work with managers to close root-cause issues.
• Track project billing and assist with quotes for new products or services.
