Cornerstone Global Partners in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Credit Control Lead to oversee group credit operations and collections, ensuring healthy cash flow across HQ and branches.
The role requires 8–12 years in credit control, with 3–5 years in a managerial position, and a professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA. Construction industry exposure is preferred; strong contract negotiation skills are essential.

Working Hours: 8:15am – 5:00pm
Lead credit control strategy and operations across HQ and branches.
Manage AR aging, ensure timely collections, and maintain healthy cash flow.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and reconciliations.
Develop, implement, and enforce credit policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
Provide insights on AR trends, collection risks, and cash flow forecasting.
Prepare short and long-term collections forecasts and monitor performance.
Review commercial contracts from a credit and financial risk perspective (payment terms, retention, LD, billing triggers, dispute clauses, etc.).
Recommend improvements to contract templates to strengthen payment protection and ensure alignment with invoicing and collection processes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and audit requirements.
Prepare reports on AR aging, collections, credit risk, bad debt, and legal cases.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) is a must.
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in credit control and AR management.
At least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Experience in project-based industries (construction) is preferred.
Strong exposure to contractual payment terms and commercial negotiations is highly desirable.
