Job summary

MBf Holdings in Malaysia is looking for a Senior Executive – Credit Control & Recovery to protect receivables and improve collection performance across the group. You will monitor ageing, oversee credit exposure and drive timely collections while negotiating settlements with customers.

The role requires 3–5 years in credit control or accounts receivable, a Diploma or Bachelor's in finance or related field, strong Excel skills (PivotTables) and a proactive, professional approach to confidential

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections or Debt Recovery
• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
• Confident in dealing with customers and negotiating payment arrangements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable handling difficult / overdue accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and data analysis
• Organised, persistent, results-oriented and able to work independently
• High integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information

Responsibilities

• Monitor payment commitments and ensure agreed settlements are honoured
• Support legal recovery, CTOS / trade reference and other escalation activities where applicable
• Prepare ageing, collection, recovery and management reports

SENIOR EXECUTIVE – CREDIT CONTROL & RECOVERY

You will play an important role in protecting the Group's receivables and improving collection performance. This role offers exposure to credit management, receivables risk, commercial operations, customer negotiations, recovery strategy and management reporting across the MBf Group.

Key responsibilities

Monitor receivables, ageing and customer credit exposure

Drive timely collection of outstanding and overdue accounts

Handle customer follow-ups, payment negotiations and settlement arrangements

Identify high-risk and problematic accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions

About you
