Job summary

Perpetual Management Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Credit Control Executive to manage accounts receivable, monitor aging and drive timely collections. You will support cash flow forecasting, prepare AR reports, and ensure policy compliance within a dynamic finance team.

The role requires a diploma/degree in accounting or finance, 1+ year in credit control, and strong Excel skills. Bahasa Malaysia and English are required; Chinese is an advantage for client interactions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in credit control, AR or collections.

Job description

We are seeking a Credit Control Executive to be responsible for managing customer credit control and accounts receivable functions, monitoring outstanding debts, ensuring timely collections, supporting effective cash flow management and accurate reporting, while maintaining compliance with company policies.

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio.

Review customer aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

Implement appropriate collection actions to minimize bad debts.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR reports.

Analyze overdue accounts and propose appropriate recovery actions.

Support cash inflow forecasting and collection trend analysis.

Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.

Perform account reconciliations and maintain proper documentation.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on collections.

Establish communication standards and maintain proper documentation control.

Manage and maintain all AR data in the ERP system.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION LEVEL & MAJOR

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 years in credit control, AR or collection.

REQUIRED LANGUAGE

Bahasa Malaysia, English & Chinese is an added advantage. (Require dealing with Chinese speaking clients).

REQUIRED SKILLS

Proactive and energetic personality with strong financial discipline and cash flow awareness.

Emotionally intelligent with excellent digital communication and negotiation skills.

Strong attention to detail and operational sharpness.

Data-driven and proficient in Excel and reporting tools.

Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is an added advantage.

Proficient in Excel, experience in ERP/SAP is added as an advantage.
