MoneySave (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of issuers, conducting financial analysis, and making risk-based recommendations to management. You will ensure financing aligns with Credit Policy and regulatory requirements.
You will prepare financial statements, conduct risk assessments across financial, industry and management factors, and structure credit facilities in line with approved purposes.
The candidate will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of the Issuers (Borrowers), conducting financial analysis, credit risk evaluation and making recommendations to Management. The candidate will ensure the financing granted is in line with the company's Credit Policy and regulatory requirements.
Preparation of financial spreadsheets based on company's Audited accounts/Management accounts including cash flow statements of Issuers (Borrowers).
Conduct credit risk assessments covering Financial risk, Industry risk and Management risk.
Assess the repayment capacity as evidenced by Issuer's debt servicing analysis / cash flow and evaluate credit risk covering liquidity, leverage and profitability.
Review applications for working capital, term loans, invoice-financing and project financing after conducting due diligence on the applicants and to structure appropriate credit facilities in line with the purpose of the facility.
Analyze and evaluate credit applications in line with the Company's Credit Policy guidelines and regulatory guidelines and prepare credit memos for Management approval.
Preparation of Letter of offers and Security Documentation for facility drawdown.
Ensure confidentiality of all company data and information records.
Work closely as a team within the department and with other department members to complete tasks in stipulated time.
Provide support on ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in credit assessment and evaluation of Corporate / Commercial SME financing, including Trade Finance, Factoring, or Equipment Financing within a Bank or Financial Institution.
Possession of a recognised professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Possession of a Certificate in Credit (CCR) will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, coupled with good communication and report-writing abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft applications-Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Open to Malaysian residents only.
