This role involves conducting client evaluations, performing independent credit assessments, and managing credit risk in a financial services environment. You will monitor margin positions, identify early warning signals, implement risk mitigation measures, and support recovery and collateral liquidation processes.
Conduct proper client evaluation, including assessment of financial standing and collateral quality (e.g., share liquidity, volatility, and concentration risk)
Perform independent credit assessment and recommend appropriate financing limits
Monitor margin positions, identify early warning signals, and implement timely risk mitigation measures
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies as well as relevant regulatory requirements
Support recovery and collateral liquidation processes in the event of default
Conduct credit assessments and recommend financing limits
Monitor margin accounts and manage margin calls
Track portfolio exposure and risk concentration
Minimum 3–5 years in credit analysis, credit risk management, stockbroking, or banking
Prior exposure to Share Margin Financing (SMF), Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL), or capital market products is an added advantage
Strong analytical skills in financial statement analysis and credit evaluation
Ability to assess collateral risk, including market volatility and concentration exposure
Familiarity with equity markets and applicable regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) for monitoring and reporting purposes
