Job summary

MoneySave (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of issuers, conducting financial analysis, and making risk-based recommendations to management. You will ensure financing aligns with Credit Policy and regulatory requirements.

You will prepare financial statements, conduct risk assessments across financial, industry and management factors, and structure credit facilities in line with approved purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of credit assessment experience in corporate/SME financing.
• Professional qualifications CFA/ACCA or CCR are advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; good written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of Issuers (Borrowers) and conduct financial analysis.
• Prepare financial spreadsheets from Audited/Management accounts including cash flows.
• Conduct credit risk assessments covering Financial, Industry, and Management risk.
• Review applications for working capital, term loans, and project financing.
• Structure credit facilities in line with the facility purpose and Credit Policy.
• Prepare credit memos for Management approval and issue letters of offer.
• Ensure confidentiality of all company data and work as part of the department team.
• Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
