Job summary

You will manage manpower, coordinate shift rotations, and enforce safety and SOP compliance while driving efficiency across the hub and courier network. Diploma or degree in logistics or related field preferred; 2–3 years in courier/logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of courier or logistics operations experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Occasional travel between gateway or HQ may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inbound and outbound courier operations, ensuring timely receipt, sorting, and dispatch of parcels.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Ensure proper handling of parcels to maintain service quality and minimize damages or losses.
• Oversee the use of operational tools and technologies, including tracking systems and warehouse equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and standard operating procedures for in-hub parcel collection.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks to staff, including couriers, sorters, and warehouse personnel.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct training sessions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure adequate manpower levels to meet operational demands, including managing shift rotations and absenteeism.
• Address and resolve employee issues promptly to maintain a productive work environment.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Implement strategies to reduce delays, operational errors, and customer complaints.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including parcel statuses and staff performance metrics.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
