Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, M&A advisory, or a listed company finance team.
• Hands-on experience with IPO processes, capital raising, or financial due diligence is highly preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, comparable company analysis, LBO).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
• Commercially aware, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a deal-driven environment.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CFA, ICAEW, CPA) or MIA membership is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and SC Guidelines is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's IPO or capital raising exercise, including preparation of financial models, prospectus inputs, and coordination with advisers and regulators
• Assist in the preparation of the profit forecast, working capital statement, and financial projections required for listing documentation
• Liaise with investment banks, Principal Advisers, legal counsel, and reporting accountants on deal-related deliverables
• Conduct financial due diligence support, responding to information requests from advisers and potential investors
• Build and maintain financial models for business valuation, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal
• Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and board papers for strategic decision-making
• Conduct industry benchmarking, peer analysis, and market research to support corporate strategy
• Evaluate M&A opportunities, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships from a financial returns perspective
• Support the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting process
• Monitor and analyse the company's financial performance against strategic targets, providing insights to senior management
