Job summary

IOI Properties Group is seeking a senior Investment Analyst/Corporate Development professional to lead evaluation of investment opportunities in real estate and related assets.

You will build financial models, perform market research, monitor portfolio performance, and support strategic initiatives with rigorous analysis and clear communication to management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate development and investment in real estate.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and commercial analysis on potential investment and corporate development opportunities.

Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Duties

Investment Analysis and Evaluation

Conduct financial and commercial analysis on potential investment and corporate development opportunities.

Perform investment appraisals, valuation analysis and feasibility studies to assess the potential returns, risks and viability of investment opportunities.

Develop and maintain financial models to support investment evaluation, performance analysis and strategic decision-making.

Analyse financial statements, business performance and relevant market information to support investment recommendations.

Identify key risks and opportunities associated with potential investments and propose appropriate mitigation measures.

Portfolio and Asset Performance Monitoring

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Group's selected investments, assets and portfolios.

Prepare periodic reports and analyses on investment and portfolio performance.

Support the development and implementation of asset and portfolio management strategies to achieve the Group's investment objectives.

Maintain proper documentation and records relating to investment, asset and portfolio decisions.

Market Research and Corporate Development

Conduct market research, industry analysis and benchmarking to identify emerging trends, business opportunities and potential risks.

Analyse competitors, industry developments and market conditions to provide meaningful insights to Management.

Support the identification and evaluation of strategic initiatives that contribute to the Group's long‑term growth objectives.

Person Specification

Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA member)

At least 5 years of experience in corporate development and investment with a proven track record in deal sourcing and execution. Must have a background in the Property or Real Estate Industry, preferably from Developer or REITs

Comprehensive understanding of real estate and financial markets

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, resourceful and business acumen

Proficiency in building financial models for performance analysis, valuation modelling, feasibility studies and market research

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent project management skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively

Strong command of written and oral English with effective communication and presentation skills
