The Financial Analyst will support the team in evaluation, monitoring, and managing investment across various asset classes. The role involves conducting financial analysis, investment research, business performance reviews, market intelligence gathering, and supporting property and corporate finance initiatives to facilitate informed decision-making and value creation for the Company.
Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation across various asset classes, both locally and internationally.
Monitor and analyse the performance of the Company's investment portfolio and recommend strategies to optimise returns.
Prepare investment reports, presentations, dashboards, and performance reviews for Management and relevant committees.
Monitor economic, financial, and market developments, and identify emerging risks, opportunities, and events that may impact Company's investments and businesses.
Assist in conducting market research, industry analysis, and due diligence on disposals, strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation opportunities.
Prepare ad-hoc financial, investment, and business analysis reports as required by Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Investment Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in audit, investment analysis, corporate finance, financial planning, equity research, asset management, investment banking, or a similar role.
Experience with financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and quantitative skills.
Sound understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, corporate finance, and economic trends.
Excellent research, report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data and analysis into actionable recommendation.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Experience within Audit Big 4, a public-listed company, financial institution, investment company, private equity, or corporate advisory environment would be preferred.
Existing office located in TRX, will be relocated starting from January 2027 (new office location TBC)
