Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance professional to build models, evaluate investments, and guide strategic decisions with senior executives.

The role covers M&A, capital structuring for property developments, listings compliance, and leading land acquisitions and JVs, requiring 5–10 years of finance experience and a degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is required.
• Professional certifications (MIA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ICAEW) are advantageous.
• 5–10 years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in management.
• Experience in property development or construction is preferred.
• Experience with regulatory and listing obligations is desirable.

Evaluate land acquisitions and joint ventures through financial modelling (RNAV, IRR) and manage due diligence.

Structure project loans, bridging facilities, and capital market instruments for property developments.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent.

Membership in (MIA) or possession of ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or ICAEW is an advantages

Minimum 5 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

Experience in property development or construction is preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Excel, robust knowledge of MFRS 15, MFRS 9 and familiarity with construction systems (e.g., IFCA, Logos, ERP or SAP).

Strong stakeholder engagement, good analytical mind set, and trouble shooting skills.

Well-versed in post-listing compliance requirements, with a hands-on approach to monitoring, managing, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and listing obligations.
