Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters in Kuala Lumpur invites a senior finance leader to spearhead IPO preparation and execution for Bursa Malaysia.

You will work closely with the Principal Adviser, auditors, reporting accountants, legal counsel, and the company secretary to prepare audited financial statements, MD&A, and Prospectus sections ensuring compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and SC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or MIA is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience with leadership.
• IPO preparation experience (preferred on Bursa Malaysia) or listed company exposure.

Job Description

IPO Preparation and Execution:

• Lead the finance workstream for the company’s IPO on Bursa Malaysia, working closelywith the Principal Adviser, auditors, reporting accountants, legal counsel, and companysecretary.
  
• Coordinate and manage the preparation of IPO financial documentation, including auditedfinancial statements, Accountants’ Report, Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A),and Prospectus sections.
  
• Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and Securities Commission(SC) Guidelines on IPOs.
  
• Support financial due diligence, valuation, and submission processes.
  
• Develop and implement internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and riskmanagement structures in line with public company expectations.
  
• Strengthen finance systems and reporting processes to ensure readiness for post-listingobligations.
  
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordancewith Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and IFRS.
  
• Manage the external audit process, ensuring timely completion and full compliance withstatutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or MIA membership required.
  
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in aleadership capacity.
  
• Proven experience in IPO preparation (preferably on Bursa Malaysia or another majorexchange) or working in a listed company environment.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, Companies Act 2016, Bursa ListingRequirements, and SC regulatory guidelines.
  
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  
• Hands-on leadership with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
