Job summary

Maybank is seeking a skilled corporate banking professional to manage a portfolio of local corporate accounts and support senior leadership in credit origination and account management. You will analyze financing requirements, prepare terms, and drive loan approvals using EOS and related systems.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, documentation, and collaboration with clients, solicitors, and internal teams to monitor covenants and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of related experience in credit or banking.
• Preference for credit-related work with analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Maybank credit systems (EOS, MFI, CRRS).
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for managing a portfolio of local corporate accounts.
• Support the team's Associate Director and Director on all aspects of account management.
• Understand clients' financing requirements and perform detailed analysis, evaluation & structure detailed financing terms.
• Credit origination including writing credit papers, using EOS and other systems for loan origination & driving internal process flow for credit approvals.
• Ensure all transactions comply with applicable regulatory framework, guidelines and the Group's policies and procedures.
• Negotiation and finalization of loan documentation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties such as client, solicitors, accountants, financial advisers, etc.
• Monitor loan covenants and approval conditions to prevent breaches, including identifying early warning triggers for potential credit deterioration.
• Responsible for all relevant housekeeping, administrative, operational and reporting requirements in relation to account portfolio.
