Job summary

LEELA, HAZLIN & CO. is seeking an immediate Conveyancing Lawyer in Johor Bahru to handle SPA, loan, discharge, perfection and other conveyancing matters under supervision or independently.

You will prepare legal documents related to conveyancing and loan documentation, liaise with clients, bankers and lawyers, and monitor files with status reports while managing ad hoc duties as needed. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with 1–2 years of conveyancing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of working experience in the conveyancing field.
• Able to handle and/or manage various general conveyancing matters.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good interpersonal skills with positive working attitude.
• Experience in handling auction cases will be an added advantage.
• Able to commence work as soon as possible will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• To handle/assist with SPA, loan, discharge, perfection and all other conveyancing related matters.
• To prepare legal documents relating to conveyancing and loan documentation
• To liaise with clients, bankers and lawyers
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned as and when necessary
• To monitor and follow up closely with all the files, attending to client correspondences, preparing status report
