Job summary

Malaysian Bar is seeking a conveyancing assistant to support lawyers in preparing sales and purchase agreements, handle conveyancing matters, and manage loan documentations for banks with minimal supervision. You will follow up with clients, liaise with clients, lawyers, banks, and developers, and monitor file statuses to meet deadlines.

The role requires SPM or equivalent with 1–3 years in conveyancing, strong drafting and analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDFs.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least SPM or equivalent
• Possess minimum 2-3 years working experience in conveyancing practice
• Computer literate: Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF etc
• Possess excellent knowledge of Conveyancing matters with strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal skill, attitude and discipline
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meticulous
• Must possess at least SPM or equivalent
• Possess minimum 1-2 years working experience in conveyancing practice

Responsibilities

• to assists lawyers with the preparation of sales & purchase agreements, handle conveyancing matters and loan documentations for all banks independently with very minor supervision.
• to follow up with clients and update file status.
• to liaise with all relevant parties including clients, other lawyers, banks, developers.
• familiar with all authorities' online portal / system and banks' online portal/ system for submission, lodgement, presentation and/or drawdown advisory
• monitor files closely and ensure all matters are completed within the stipulated timeline
• to prepare bank loan and Sale & Purchase Agreement documentation etc
