Job summary

VCS Interior Sdn Bhd is hiring a Contract Executive to manage contract preparation, review, and administration for design & build projects in Malaysia. You will ensure clear scopes, terms, timelines and pricing, while maintaining meticulous documentation and supporting tender submissions.

The role requires knowledge of construction contracts, risk assessment, and effective negotiation with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Law, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 1–5 years of contracts administration experience in design & build, construction, or interior fit-out projects.
• Exposure to Malaysian contracts (FIDIC, PAM, JKR, CIDB) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, tender procedures, and construction agreements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare contracts, agreements, and addendums.
• Ensure contracts include clear scope, terms, obligations, timelines, and payment schedules.
• Maintain proper documentation of all contracts and related correspondence.
• Assist in tender submissions, quotations, and contract proposals.
• Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with terms, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify risks and assist in dispute resolution and negotiation.
• Prepare regular contract status reports for management.
