Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking a dynamic Recruiter in Malaysia. As a full-time employee, you will recruit and place hires for client projects across multiple industries, working closely with clients to understand staffing needs and to source, screen, and place hires.

You will interview, test, and refer applicants for all positions, guide hires through offers to contracts, and maintain regular communication to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Desired)
• Minimum of 2 years of High-Volume Recruiting
• Previous Recruiting experience
• Previous recruiting through third party agencies experience preferred
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English
• Exceptional customer service, telephone manner, and multitasking skills are a must
• Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency, and attention to detail are essential
• Experience in a call center environment preferred
• Proficient in MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel
• Proficient in Workday Recruiting
• Strong experience with candidate sourcing using internet tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media and search engines

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand their staffing needs for independent contractors.
• Utilize various recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, networks, etc.) to find qualified talent.
• Assess candidates qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the role.
• Guide hires through the hiring process, from offer to contract execution, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
• Maintain regular communication with talent, ensuring they’re satisfied with their assignments and addressing any issues that arise.
• Ensure that 1099 contractors understand and comply with all tax, legal, and compliance requirements associated with independent contractor work.
• Stay informed about industry trends and compensation benchmarks for 1099 talent across different sectors.
