Job summary

EXPANSION INTERNATIONAL GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Recruiter to support a high-volume, international hiring project. This full-time contractor role focuses on English–Mandarin/Cantonese speakers and requires a proactive, hands-on approach to sourcing and candidate engagement from remote locations.

You will build a pipeline, screen candidates, and meet aggressive daily/weekly targets while leveraging multiple sourcing channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in mass/high-volume recruitment.
• Knowledge of the Malaysia talent market for Mandarin/Cantonese candidates.
• Experience recruiting English-speaking Mandarin/Cantonese candidates.
• Proactive, hands-on sourcing approach.
• Ability to meet high-volume targets and fast turnaround times.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract high volumes of English–Mandarin/Cantonese speaking candidates.
• Proactively search for candidates across job boards, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, databases and other local channels.
• Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline via Workable.
• Conduct initial screening and assess candidates against project requirements.
• Follow up quickly with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Meet agreed daily/weekly/monthly recruitment targets.
• Identify new and creative sourcing channels within the local market.
• Keep candidate records and recruitment trackers up to date.
• Work closely with the recruitment/project team to ensure positions are filled quickly.

Mandarin-Speaking Recruiter – Mass Recruitment Contractor

Location: Remote / Work from Home
Engagement: Full-time Contractor
Project: Short-term project with potential for extension
Compensation: monthly retainer + competitive performance-based commission scheme

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Recruiter to support a high-volume international hiring project focused on recruiting English–Mandarin/Cantonese speakers.

This is a fast-paced recruitment project, so we are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and highly driven by results. You should be comfortable going beyond posting jobs and actively finding candidates through multiple sourcing channels.

The initial engagement is project-based, with potential to continue longer term based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Source and attract high volumes of English–Mandarin/Cantonese speaking candidates

Proactively search for candidates across job boards, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, databases and other local channels

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in mass or high-volume recruitment

Strong knowledge of the Malaysia talent market for Mandarin/Cantonese candidates

Experience recruiting English-speaking Mandarin/Cantonese candidates

Highly proactive and hands-on approach to sourcing

Comfortable with high-volume targets and fast turnaround times

Strong communication and candidate engagement skills

Able to work independently in a remote environment

Recruitment agency, BPO, RPO, customer service, contact centre or international hiring experience is a plus

Native Mandarin/Cantonese and strong English
