OIB Group is seeking a Quantity Surveying assistant in Malaysia to support budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination on ongoing development projects. The role emphasizes timely measurement, cost control, and clear liaison with site teams and external partners.

Ideal candidates hold a diploma or degree in quantity surveying, with 1-2 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong analytical skills, teamwork, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in quantity surveying is required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Able to work well in a team and maintain punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Taking-off rebar & BRC and ensure orders are placed on time.
• Prepare BOQ and seek quotations for pending trades.
• Prepare subcontractor claims, verify site measurements and ensure timely payments.
• Liaise with site representatives and subcontractors.
• Track drawings and prepare transmittals to relevant parties.
• Prepare Subcontractor's Letter of Award (LA).
• Assist Contract Executive in monitoring project budgets and update material budgets.
