Chin Hin Construction Engineering Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Contract Executive/Senior Contract Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage contract administration, prepare BQ, measure variations, and certify progress claims for high-value projects.
The role requires a QS or law degree, RQS/BQSM registration, CIDB Green Card, and at least 5 years of Malaysian construction experience; knowledge of Mandarin/Hokkien is a plus.
Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost plans.
Measure and price variation orders; prepare and submit variation accounts.
Prepare monthly progress claims for client certification.
Assess and certify subcontractor progress claims; identify back-charges.
Procure subcontractors and suppliers; prepare comparative tender analyses.
Administer subcontracts; ensure back-to-back terms are maintained.
Prepare and maintain cost-to-complete reports.
Assist in preparation of EOT and loss & expense claims.
Review and negotiate subcontractor final accounts.
Maintain contract registers, variation logs, and payment records.
Has responsibility for the adequacy and effectiveness of the quality system.
Has joint responsibility for ensuring that all corrective measures emanating from management review are processed in a timely manner.
Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or Law; LLB (Construction Law) preferred for senior roles
Registered Quantity Surveyor (RQS) with BQSM preferred
BQSM registered QS (RQS)
CIDB Green Card
RICS or AIQS membership an advantage
Minimum 5 years of contracts/commercial management experience in Malaysian construction;
Experience in healthcare, hospital, or medical facility projects will be an added advantage.
Additional language capabilities, including M.andarin and/or Hokkien, to facilitate stakeholder engagement and project coordination where required, will be beneficial
